The 7th “Boyi Cup” China Youth Chess International Open Tournament will be held in Daqing, Heilongjiang Province, China from July 30 to August 4, 2025. Registration deadline is June 30, 2025, 18:00 (GMT+8). Late applications will not be accepted.

VII. Participants

  1. Players under the age of 25 (born after January 1, 2000) from any FIDE member federation.
  2. Group A: Players with an international rating over 1900.
  3. Group B: Players with an international rating equal to or under 2000.

VIII. Competition Method

  • Swiss-system tournament with 9 rounds.
  • Group A: 90 minutes per player with a 30-second increment from move one.
  • Group B: 60 minutes per player with a 30-second increment from move one.
  • FIDE latest rules apply, international ratings (Elo) will be calculated.

IX. Awards

  • Total prize pool: CNY 104,000 (pre-tax).
  • Trophies for champions of Group A, Group B, and Best Female Player.
  • Certificates for top 8 players in each group.

X. Arbitration

  • Chief Arbiter, Deputy Chief Arbiter, Chief Organizer, and Appeals Chairman appointed by the Chinese Chess Association.
  • Appeals within 1 hour after the round, fee RMB 2,000.

XI. Funding

  • Organizing Committee covers competition operation.
  • Players cover their own travel, accommodation, and meals.
  • Buffet meals and lodging from July 30 (evening) to August 4 (lunch).
